The introduction of characters enhances gameplay strategy among players, creating a more intense atmosphere where a twist on decision-making becomes a new and crucial part of the game.
Each character comes with its own perks, and players are designated with an individual responsibility to help the team Breakout. Character abilities can also be paired strategically to form the perfect team to tackle different game cubes so that players can achieve minimal completion time.
A flashlight will be granted to this play as a light source. The Flashlight could be used as often as possible during the gameplay or could be exchanged to obtain hint
the level of difficulty and physical requirement of the puzzles and total number of puzzles to be solved.
The Oracle is given the privilege of taking a glance of the game room as if they can see the future. Roughly 10 photos are shown to this player before the start of the game, all pointing to the important aspects of the gameplay. His/her duty is to help the team stay focused during the game, and pinpoint which objects to use to solve each puzzle.
A Passcode will be given to this player to unlock a specific lock in the room. The passcode can be exchanged to obtain a hint if it is used.
An Additional 5 minutes will be given to this player and can be exchanged for a hint. Should this extra 5 minutes not be utilized, then a hint will be given.
This player is given the ability to duplicate all the characters except the Assassin, Lockmaster and Time Bender.
This player is given the ability to kill a teammate to obtain an answer for the current puzzle. The teammate who is killed will be handcuffed at the entrance of the game room for 5 minutes. It is only applied to characterswhose powers have not been used.
This player is given the ability to revive the character that was killed by the Assassin along with their abilities. The healer is only allowed to save 1 person, and this ability can only be used once.
